Accessibility Statement
Proline Covering wants this site to work for everyone who visits it, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or zoom in to read text. If something is not working for you, we want to know and we will fix it or find another way to help you get what you need.
What we are working toward
We are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. In plain terms, that means the site should work with a screen reader, be fully operable using a keyboard alone, stay readable when text is enlarged, and have enough colour contrast to be legible in bright light. Our current status is partially conformant: most of the site meets that standard, and we are still working through the parts that do not.
What we have done
Here is what we have put in place so far:
Images that carry meaning have descriptive alt text so a screen reader can communicate what they show.
Headings follow a logical order on every page, so someone navigating by screen reader can move through the page in sequence without losing context.
Forms, including the estimate request form, have visible labels attached to each field, not just placeholder text that disappears when you start typing.
Keyboard focus is visible. If you tab through the page, you can see where you are at each step.
The site reflows and stays legible on a phone screen without horizontal scrolling.
Colour contrast across the site has been checked against the brand palette to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA ratio.
Known limitations
We want to be straightforward about where the site still has gaps.
Some older photos in our project library may have incomplete or missing alt text while we work through the full image set.
Any embedded third-party content, such as a map, a review widget, or an external booking tool, is not fully under our control, and those elements may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site.
If any of these limitations gets in your way, contact us directly and we will give you the information or complete the task another way. No one should have to abandon a job inquiry because a widget is not cooperating.

When you get in touch, it helps to know: the address of the page where the problem happened, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. That information lets us find the problem and fix it faster.
If the site is not working for you right now and you need a flooring estimate or want to ask about a project, call us and we will handle everything by phone. We can take your details, go over the work, and get you a quote in whatever format works for you. You do not need the website to work with us.
How we check
We review pages for accessibility during the design and content process, checking heading structure, form labels, alt text, contrast, and keyboard behaviour as we build and update the site. We run automated checks where tooling is available and verify layout and reflow on real mobile devices. We have not commissioned a formal third-party audit. If we do, we will update this page with the date and the name of who performed it.
Technical
This site is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies. If you are using an older browser or an older version of a screen reader, some features may behave differently. Updating to a current version of your browser or assistive technology will generally give you a more consistent experience.
Dates
This statement is effective 2026-09-26 and was last reviewed 2026-09-26. We review this statement at least once a year and update it whenever the site changes in a way that affects accessibility. A statement that sits unchanged for years tells nobody anything useful, so we keep it current.
